A dump truck crashed through a house in South Jersey on Tuesday, causing significant damage to the structure, police said.
Police were called to the home, near the intersection of Woodbury-Glassboro Road and Stratford Avenue in Woodbury, at 1:34 p.m. The truck hit a telephone pole in the area before striking the home, township police said in a statement.

It is believed that the driver was having a medical emergency at the time of the crash, authorities said.
Police did not comment on the extent of the damage to the home, but videos taken from an ABC 6 Action News helicopter show significant damage to the house, with debris scattered on the lawn and the truck almost entirely inside a room of the home.
Firefighters were on the scene on Tuesday afternoon preparing for the home’s demolition, the ABC affiliate reported.
Police did not comment on the condition of the driver, but said a resident of the home, the only occupant at the time of the crash, was brought to the hospital for evaluation.
The Woodbury Township Police had warned residents that road closures could be in affect for an “extended period of time.”
